What was YOUR reason for joining Gold Canyon? Extra income…recognition…prizes…a great discount on your favorite products…a way to get out and meet people? I would love for you to take a minute and think about first attracted you to the Gold Canyon family.

My story is this (and YOU play a big part, so I encourage you to read on) - It was April 2005 & I was 6 months pregnant with our 2nd daughter. Our oldest was only 14 months old at the time and I remember being home all day, everyday- just her and I. I received three Gold Canyon candles for my birthday that month from a cousin who lives in Mesa, AZ: Fresh Cut Roses, Orange Blossoms & Cinnamon Vanilla. I will never forget the first time I lit the Orange Blossoms candle and the smell that filled our apartment! It was amazing (and was only our 5 oz candle)!!! It took me from being in Bloomington, IL and placed me right in the middle of Phoenix/Mesa during the time that Orange Blossoms fill the air. I knew then that Gold Canyon was something I wanted to be a part of! It offered me many of the benefits I mentioned above - extra spending money, recognition (because as women, we especially seem need that ) and a chance to get out of the apartment and meet other women who live a similar story.

It’s been 6 years since I joined Gold Canyon. And I still LOVE our products & the opportunity I have to share them with my friends, family and even strangers! But one thing that appeals to me the most is that it is flexible with my life. That is where YOU enter my story! I must say, it’s been a challenging year for me. Maybe you understand?! We welcomed our 4th daughter into our family 7 months ago. Over the past 5-6 months, I have been going through some “baby blues” (or more appropriately baby “pinks”) and I wanted to take a minute to THANK YOU and tell you how much I appreciate your support for our team. That is what makes our team one of the best. As I have been learning what is important to me in life and in my family, and trying to work around new schedules with school/family stuff, I realize just how big of a gift each of you are - yes, even those of you I have not yet met.

It is now, halfway through the year, that I want to encourage YOU to take time to remember what your passion is and pursue it. Reevaluate where you are in your business and where you WANT to be and create a plan to “Go For It!”

Our Team Blog is current (http://www.goinggold.blogspot.com) and I would love for you to add insight/comments to posts as you have time! We have many amazing women on our team that have so many different stories - let’s encourage each other! In July we will resume our Team Meetings (Blm/Normal area), I will begin sending monthly emails highlighting great things happening on our team, as well as updating our blog with Gold Canyon announcements and promotions!

I have HIGH HOPES for each of you throughout the rest of the year! Gold Canyon is getting ready to make a BIG announcement on July 1st that will affect the Career Plan in a great way - I hope you are on board to share the news with everyone you know!
